With the Openbox AS4K 2X satellite receiver , Openbox is expanding the AS4K model line. Openbox AS4K 2X is a digital satellite 4K / Ultra HD receiver with one tuner running on Android version 7.0 Nougat. The SW add-on of the satellite part is used from already tested models of receivers.
The new model is made in a new stylish case, with a tuner for DVB-S2X reception with Multistream support, support for T2MI reception, with built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), as well as alphanumeric display VFD on the front panel.
With the Android receiver Openbox AS4K 2X you can receive satellite broadcasts with 4K / UHD, HD and SD resolutions with highly efficient H.265 / HEVC compression format, as well as in older Mpeg4 / H.264 and Mpeg2 formats.
The maximum image resolution of the receiver is 3840x2160p (4K Ultra HD) 60 frames per second, which is 4 times higher than that of HD receivers .
The satellite receiver is equipped with a modern powerful Hisilicon Hi3798Mv200 processor from Huawei. This processor was specifically designed for use in IPTV / OTT and hybrid DVB boxes. High-performance quad-core 64-bit Cortex A53 ARM processor, built-in NEON multimedia accelerator, Java hardware accelerator supports the following standards:
